Jeff Wittstock

Principal Analyst, Reservoir Characterization

Jeff Wittstock has over 30 year experience in exploration and development on four continents. He has developed expertise in geology and geophysics, field appraisal and development, reservoir characterization, modeling, and petrophysics. He formerly was the Chief Geologist for Calvalley Petroleum in Yemen and First Calgary Petroleums in Algeria where he co-led and coordinated the successful appraisal and subsurface development of several major fields. He also held geoscience and leadership positions with EnCana Corporation, Hornet Energy Ltd. and Amoco. At EnCana, he was credited with the discovery and development of a major field extension and increased production.

Jeff also has extensive training in Geology, Petrophysics, Geophysics (2D & 3D interpretation, sequence stratigraphy, rock properties), production (well testing) and reservoir engineering (geo-cellular modelling), computing systems (Petrophysical, Modelling, PC & UNIX systems), project management, risk analysis, management skills, business & economic evaluation.
