Dr. Chih-Ying Chen

Dr. Chih-Ying Chen previously was a senior reservoir engineer with Ryder Scott, where he worked on or coordinated numerous petroleum reserves evaluation, field development and management projects located in Indonesia, China, UAE, Iraq, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Colombia, Algeria, Angola, Cameroon, Gabon, Niger, Nigeria, Croatia and the USA. Dr. Chen also served as a technical advisor at Ryder Scott in conducting major mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects for numerous clients with multi-billion USD transactions. Prior to his work with Ryder Scott, Dr. Chen worked for Formosa Petrochemical Corp. as an E&P project lead, where he conducted prospect identifications, reservoir modeling, reservoir simulation and economic evaluations for numerous onshore fields or prospects in the US.
