Meher Surendra has been involved in the design and analysis of subsea systems, pipelines, flow assurance, safety engineering, process & separation, gas dispersion and thermal management. He has worked extensively with clients to mitigate problems encountered in flow assurance and on offshore platforms.
B.S., Mechanical Engineering, JNT University, India
M.S., Petroleum Engineering, Texas A&M University
Reservoir Simulation, Field Optimization and Well Testing
Presented technical papers at the SPE-ATCE conference in Denver 2008
and at the European fuel cell technology conference in Florida 2005.
Recipient of Crisman Institute Fellowship at Texas A&M University.
Created a tool to help in accurate measurement of volumetric data in wet gas metering,
also devised new methods to reduce erosion at pipe bends due to sand transport.
Engineer at Prospect Inc. worked in conjunction with clients to mitigate problems
encountered in flow assurance and on offshore platforms.
Research Assistant at Department of Petroleum Engg at Texas A&M University.
Investigated the applications of swirl flows in the oil & gas industry and set up a
dedicated flow loop for sand transport studies. Identified how generation of swirls can
solve the Liquid loading problem.
