Mr. Daneshy is president of Daneshy Consultants Int?l, a consulting firm for the oil and gas industry providing technical and managerial consulting services to diverse global clients , including majors (ExxonMobil, Shell, Rosneft, etc), mid-size internationals (ENI, Apache, etc), NOCs (Aramco, Zadco, ADMA, PDVSA, PEMEX, ONGC, etc), Independents, and many others. Since January 2005, Mr. Daneshy has also held the position of director of petroleum engineering at the University of Houston.
Mr. Daneshy established himself while building a distinguished career with Halliburton. During this tenure he held the position of Manager, Reservoir Research & Engineering (Duncan, Oklahoma), Director of European Research Center for Halliburton (Leiderdorp, Holland), and Operations Technical Manager for the Europe/Africa Region (London, England). Upon retiring Mr. Daneshy was Vice President, Integrated Technology Products, Halliburton Energy Services (Houston, Texas).
He has pioneered and introduced several new technical concepts in Halliburton and the upstream industry including, novel methods for controlling water production, new well testing applications, and other cutting edge approaches to solve challenges in the upstream industry. Mr. Daneshy has operational experience in many areas of the world, including US, North Sea, Africa, Middle East, and Asia Pacific and is well known and respected by the professional community. He serves on the Board of Directors for SPE and has been a past Executive Editor of SPE Production Engineering journal.
